قصة عصفور الحرية 

قبل ظهور ضوء النهار ، تركت العصفورة الام عشها وطارت في سعادة بعيدا لتبحث عن رزقها وتأتي بالطعام لتطعم صغيرها وفي احد المرات رجعت الام الى عشها فوجدت صغيرها حزينا ولم يرحب بها كعادته ولم يسارع الى التقاط الطعام من منقارها ، فهمت الام ان شيئا ما قد حدث واغضب صغيرها 

سألت الام الصغير عما يحزنه فأشار لها وقال : لقد قمت بالطيران في غيابك الى حافة النافذة الموجودة امامنا في هذا البيت حيث يوجد قفص جميل بداخله عصافير ملونة ولديهم طعام وفير وحاولت الفتاة التى تطعمهم الامساك بي لكننى طرت بعيدا عنها وصمت الصغير وظهر على وجهه حزن شديد 

قالت الام في حنان : ماذا حدث ياعزيزي؟ قال : لقد قالت لى الفتاة : اذهب بعيدا ايها العصفور الاسمر فلا احدا يريدك ولا احدا يحبك وانا لدى عصافيري الملونة وهى افضل منك وانا لا يسعدنى ان اتعرف عليك ، وصمت الصغير وظهر على وجهه الحزن الكثير ، ان هذه الكلمات السيئة قد احزنت قلبي ياامي 

قالت الام لصغيرها وهى تضمه لصدرها بجناحها : الحمد لله ياولدى ان الفتاة لم تمسك بك لانها لو امسكتك لوضعتك داخل القفص ولكنت تعذبت من السجن وانا كنت سأموت من الحزن ، ان البشر ياعزيزي يحبون حبس الطيور لتكون في متناول ايديهم ونحن طيور احرار نكره الاقفاص ولا نطيق الاسوار 

قال الصغير : ولماذا تكرهني تلك الفتاة ياامي ؟ قالت الام : لانها لا تعرف شيئا عنك ، انها لو صاحبتك لشعرت بروحك الجميلة واخلاقك النبيلة ، ولو سمعت صوتك واستمعت الى عذوبة لحنك ونغمك لاحبتك فدعك منها يااميري لانها اذا كانت تميز بين الطيور بسبب لونها وشكلها فالواضح انها فتاة لا عقل لها 

بعد مرور ايام ، طلبت الام من الصغير مرافقتها وطارا حتى وصلا الى النافذة ، قالت الام : انظر ياولدي الى القطة الملونة التى تجلسها الفتاة بجوارها وتطعمها وتعتنى بها وبعد ساعة نزلت الفتاة الى مدرستها فوجدت قطة امام منزلها فدفعتها بعيدا بقدمها ، قالت الام حقا انها لا عقل لها 

في اليوم التالى ، طارت الام وصغيرها حيث قفص العصافير الملونة ، تعرفت عليهم الام وسألتهم : هل انتم سعداء ؟ قالت احدهم : الجميع هنا مكسور القلب وحزين . قال العصفور الصغير : الست سعيدا بشكلك الجميل ولون ريشك البديع ؟ 

قال العصفور الملون : اننى حقا تعيس واتمني عيش الحرية حتى لو فقدت تلك الريشات الذهبية 

قال لهم العصفور الصغير : اتمنى لكم ان تشاركونا الحرية في القريب وطارت الام وصغيرها وسبحوا في السماء ثم عادوا الى العش الصغير فوق احد الاشجار غنت الام مع صغيرها وقالا : 

نحن العصافير                    نحب ان نطير 

لنا منقار صغير                  ولنا ذيل كبير 

نحب الحياة                       في العش الصغير 

نختبيء بين الاشجار           وفوق طلع النخيل 

اصواتنا عذبة                    وحبسنا مستحيل 

وسعادتنا الحقيقية              هى في عيش الحرية

The colored bird said: I am really miserable and I hope to live freedom even if I lose those golden feathers

The little bird said to them: I wish you to share with us freedom in the near future, and the mother and her baby flew and swam in the sky, then they returned to the small nest above one of the trees. The mother sang with her baby and said:

We birds love to fly

We have a small beak and a large tail

We love life in the little nest

We hide between trees and on palm pollen

Our voices are sweet and our imprisonment is impossible

Our true happiness is in living freedom
