الثعلب والذئب وقرص الجبن 

بينما كان الثعلب المكار يبحث عن الطعام لمح بئرا فاقترب منها ونظر بداخلها فرأى صورة القمر المستديرة تنعكس على صفحه الماء فظنها قرصا كبيرا من الجبن 

وكان للبئر دلوان معلقان بحبل بحيث اذا لقي احدهما في البئر صعد الاخر الى اعلى

فجلس في احد الدلوين فهبط به الدلو الى القاعوصعد الدلو الاخر الى اعلى البئر 

فوجيء الثعلب بالحقيقة وعلم انه قد انخدع ووجد نفسه في مأزق صعب 

وفجأة وصل الى البئر ذئب جائع فقال له الثعلب: اتريد يارفيقي ان تنعم بأكله لذيذة ؟

اترى هذا القرص المستدير .. انه قرص جبن ما ذقت مثل طعمه اللذيذ في حياتي انظر... لقد اكلت قطعة منه وسوف اترك كل ما تبقي لك وحدك هيا اقفز في الدلو الذي عندك وانزل الي ...

لم يكشف الذئب الحيلة التي يدبرها الثعلب وكان الذئب اكبر حجما واثقل وزنا لذلك نزل به الدلو بسرعة الى القاع وفي الوقت نفسه ارتفع الدلو الذي يجلس فيه الثعلب الى اعلى البئر ولما وصل قرب حافتها قفز الى الخارج ونجا بنفسه وانصرف وهو يضحك في مكر

The well had two buckets suspended by a rope, so if he put one of them in the well, the other would go up.

The wolf did not discover the trick that the fox was planning. The wolf was bigger and heavier, so he quickly lowered the bucket to the bottom. At the same time, the bucket in which the fox was sitting rose to the top of the well. When he reached the edge, he jumped out and saved himself and left while laughing cunningly
